Terms of Service
Last updated
This is a skeleton so the page and its editing workflow exist. Sections marked [NEEDS LEGAL INPUT] contain no terms at all and must be written before these terms are presented to users as binding.
1. Who we are and what this is
G Arrivals is a marketplace where members rent, buy, sell, and commission made-to-measure clothing from one another and from verified designers and tailors. We provide the platform. Contracts for individual items are between the members involved.
[NEEDS LEGAL INPUT] — the operating company's registered name, company number and registered address.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Listing and selling
You may only list items you own and are entitled to rent, sell, or make. Listings must describe the item accurately, including its condition. Listings are reviewed before they appear.
4. Fees
The following are taken from the current implementation and need confirming before publication:
- Renters pay a service fee of 15% on top of the rental subtotal.
- Lenders pay a commission of 10%, withheld from their payout.
[NEEDS LEGAL INPUT] — when fees are charged, when they are refundable, and how changes to them are notified.
5. Rentals, returns and damage
[NEEDS LEGAL INPUT] — the entire section. Late returns, damage and loss, cleaning, deposits, and who bears the cost in each case. These are commercial decisions, not drafting ones.
6. Made-to-measure commissions
[NEEDS LEGAL INPUT] — cancellation rights on bespoke work, what happens if a finished piece does not fit, and the point at which a commission becomes non-refundable.
7. Payments
[NEEDS LEGAL INPUT] — the payment provider, when money moves, and the payout schedule to sellers.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the marketplace to list counterfeit goods, to harass other members, to take transactions off the platform to avoid fees, or to break the law.
9. Suspension and removal
We may remove a listing or suspend an account that breaches these terms.
10. Liability
[NEEDS LEGAL INPUT] — the entire section, including what is excluded and any cap. This must be drafted by a solicitor; consumer law limits what can be excluded.
11. Governing law
[NEEDS LEGAL INPUT] — the governing law and the courts with jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
13. Contact
[NEEDS LEGAL INPUT] — the contact address for notices under these terms.
